Jose Novo Matos DVM PhD DipECVIM (Cardiology) AFHEA MRCVS
EBVS® European and RCVS Specialist in Small Animal Cardiology
Jose graduated from the University of Lisbon in 2005. He completed a Cardiology Residency at the University of Zurich and became an ECVIM-CA Diplomate in 2014. He worked as an Oberartz in Small Animal Cardiology at the University of Zurich before moving to the Royal Veterinary College where he completed a PhD on Feline Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. Jose is now working at the University of Cambridge, where he is a Teaching Professor of Small Animal Cardiology and the Principal Clinical Cardiologist at the Queen’s Veterinary School Hospital. He is an Honorary Research Fellow at the Royal Veterinary College.
