 The 18th ECVIM-CA CONGRESS

 Dear Colleagues and Friends,

The 2007 Budapest congress was well received. Together with the ESVCP we had four full days of Veterinary and Clinical Pathology science at its best. And it goes without saying that we will continue on this line in 2008. We are already asking the proposed invited speakers and next year we will have three full days of lectures in five simultaneous rooms. If you are interested in Veterinary Internal Medicine this congress will not disappoint you. The programme will be made known at the end of December and bookings are possible starting form the 1st of February.

The ECVIM-CA congress is traditionally a place not only for scientific information but also for social gatherings. In 2008 the welcome reception (Wednesday evening the 3rd of September) will be held in “The Gravensteen, a castle in Ghent originating from the Middle Ages. However the number of places is limited so register on time.

Friday evening we will organize our yearly gala dinner in the Flemish Opera house. Once again the number of seats is limited so register on time!

With a mixture of Romanesque, Gothic and southern Dutch Renaissance type of buildings Ghent is one of the most beautiful Flemish cities. If it is not for the science we will have you should simple come and see the city.
