Sina received her veterinary degree from the University of Hanover, Germany in 2004. She completed a German doctorate program in feline chronic enteropathies in 2007 before she started working as a veterinary clinician. She did a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the University of Giessen, Germany and the Royal Veterinary College in London, UK. She received her Diploma of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM, SAIM) in 2014 and is also a registered Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ECVIM, CA). Sina joined the GI Lab in September 2014 to pursue a PhD. Her research and clinical foci are feline chronic enteropathies and feline gastrointestinal small cell lymphomas. In her spare time Sina enjoys spending time with her two Chihuahuas Valentino and Coco, cooking with and for friends, traveling and many outdoor activities like kayaking, running, hiking and bicycling.
