Catherine Lenox, DVM, DACVN received her veterinary degree from the University of Missouri in 2007. After veterinary school, she completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Colorado State University and a residency in small animal veterinary nutrition at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. She was board certified by the American College of Veterinary Nutrition in 2011. She spent three years in clinical practice, specializing in small animal nutrition, at a large specialty hospital in Texas prior to joining the Royal Canin team in 2014. She is currently Regulatory Veterinary Manager at Royal Canin USA and is based in Houston, Texas, USA. Dr. Lenox has a special interest in fatty acids and has published in the area of omega-3 fatty acids. Her clinical interests include gastrointestinal disease, nutrition for liver disease, critical care nutrition, and home-cooked diet formulation.
