Korn, Lars

As a trained psychologist, Lars Korn is working as a PhD student and research associate in a project funded by the German Research Foundation on vaccine hesitancy (in cooperation with the RWTH Aachen University). He is also an active member of the research groups Center for Empirical Research in Economics and Behavioral Sciences (CEREB) and Psychology & Infectious Diseases (PIDI Lab). His primary field of research interest is vaccine decision-making. In this regard, he is also interested in risk perception and risk communication, health communication (especially herd immunity as a communication strategy), intra- and inter-group processes in vaccination decisions, and vaccination as a social dilemma and strategic interaction.
