Geddes, Rebecca

Rebecca graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2007 and worked in first opinion practice for three years, during which time she developed a particular interest in feline medicine. Rebecca undertook a PhD at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) from 2010 to 2014 and completed a thesis on calcium-phosphate homeostasis in feline chronic kidney disease. She went on to complete a rotating internship and a residency in small animal internal medicine at the RVC, gaining her ACVIM diploma in 2018. Rebecca is currently a Clinical Research Fellow at the RVC and her research is focused on disrupted calcium homeostasis and nephrolithiasis formation in cats.
