Anne French graduated from UCD, Ireland and spent several years in small animal practice in the UK and as a lecturer in Small Animal Internal Medicine in Zimbabwe before deciding to specialize in Veterinary Cardiology. She did a residency in cardiology at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh and stayed on as a lecturer/senior lecturer in small animal cardiopulmonary medicine. She joined the University of Glasgow as Head of the cardio-respiratory service in September 2012 where until recently she was Head of the Division of Small Animal Clinical Sciences and Director of the Small Animal Hospital. Anne will take up the position of Head of Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at RUSVM, St Kitts in late 2019. Anne has lectured extensively both nationally and internationally. She is primarily interested in all aspects of cardio-respiratory disease in dogs and cats however she has recently completed an MBA with a research focus on the impact of corporatization on the veterinary profession.
