Barrs, Vanessa

Vanessa Barrs is a Professor of Feline Medicine & Infectious Diseases in the Sydney School of Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney. She is a specialist in feline medicine and a one-health infectious diseases clinical researcher with expertise in environmental fungal pathogens, viral infections in animal shelters and at animal-wildlife-human interfaces. She is also a co-investigator in the Sydney Research Excellence Initiative Centre for Pathogen Discovery. She has authored over 140 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters.
