You can once again expect high scientific level talks on various topics in internal medicine given by experts in their respective field . This meeting will be a joint ECVIM-CA/ECVCP meeting and our colleagues in clinical pathology will have a 2,5 day programme.

ESVCP will organize a precongress day at the Veterinary School of Toulouse and ESVE will have its traditional (every other year) post-congress day at the Centre of Congress. A workshop on respiratory and urology stenting procedures supported by Infinity will also be organized on the 8th September at the Veterinary School.

In addition, the ECVIM-CA congress committee is pleased to host the 1st Symposium of the International Society for Companion Animal Infectious Diseases (ISCAID). ISCAID will organize a precongress day in the center of Congress and will have a joint program with ESVIM during our congress. We are very proud that this event takes place at our congress.

One important change compared to previous years is the disparition of the plenary session. The State of the Art lecture and the Award of the best oral abstract have indeed been skipped from the programme. There will still be an award for the best poster research abstract for veterinarians younger than 35 years.
